Every summer, our team gathers in Denver, home to Ventura HQ, for our annual Summer Summit. It’s a time to connect, align, and celebrate everything we’ve accomplished together. This year’s theme said it all: Scaling New Heights.
With team members flying in from London to San Fransisco, the energy in our Denver office was unmatched. From first-time meetups to long-overdue reunions, having our full team in person created the perfect backdrop for two days of meaningful connection and momentum building.
A Look at the Week
We kicked things off with two full days of content and collaboration.
Day 1:
- A motivating founder kickoff set the tone, followed by department updates across the business
- A few rounds of games kept things light and fun
- We introduced our first-ever Maverick Award, honoring the boldest, most relentless trailblazer on the sales team. The inaugural winner? Jack Ellis, the newest member of our London pod, who’s already making waves with his energy, drive, and results
- We wrapped the day with a happy hour and a night out at the Rockies game, a perfect summer evening in the Mile High City
Day 2:
- We welcomed David Ternan, Co-Founder and CEO of OrthoFi, for an inspiring fireside chat on leadership and scaling with purpose
- The afternoon featured team strategy sessions and our very own Shark Tank pitch competition, full of bold ideas to shape Ventura’s next chapter
- We closed out with a Cantina-style dinner and a night at The Grizzly Rose, complete with line dancing lessons and a few brave souls tackling the mechanical bull
More Than Meetings
Of course, the summit wasn’t just about presentations and planning. We made the most of our time together with great food, meaningful conversations, and memorable off-sites that reminded us how fun work can be when you love who you work with.
At Ventura Growth, we host two summits each year: our Winter Summit at a warm destination and our Summer Summit in Colorado. These gatherings give us the chance to reconnect in person, align on our goals, and celebrate the people powering our progress.
Onward into the Second Half
With the second half of 2025 underway, we’re feeling energized and aligned for what’s next. The Summer Summit gave us space to reconnect, spark new ideas, and refocus on the climb ahead.
